Media converter designed to convert media from optical line 1000Base-LX/LH to metallic line 1000Base-T and vice versa . The MC210CS media converter, which was designed according to IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-LX/LH standards, is intended for use with singlemode optical cable with SC type connector . The MC210CS media converter supports the Long Wave Laser (LX) specification at maximum packet forwarding speed. It uses a wavelength of 1310 nm for receiving and sending data.
Other features of this module include the ability to be used as a stand-alone device (no chassis required), MDI/MDI-X auto-detection for the TX port, and front panel status LEDs. The MC210CS module supports data transmission using a singlemode optical cable over long distancesup to 15 km .

  • It supports a speed of 1000 Mbit/s in full duplex mode

  • Enables automatic configuration of forced/automatic transfer mode for FX port.

The media converter only supports gigabit ethernet. It does not support 10/100 Mbps speeds.
